This past weekend in National Harbor, MD, the Cookie Brigade raised money at Super MAGFest, in a great weekend of raising money for charity, fun times, and community. We were very fortunate to be in a great section of the show, and have incredible support from MAGFest charity staff, volunteers and attendees. With their help and support, we were able to raise over $26,000 for charity, beating our previous and first year at the show by almost $10,000!
New Merch
We released several new merch items at this show, including an awesome Cookie Brigade sticker sheet! We also unveiled a shaker keychain with rattling cookies inside, a solid acrylic keychain, and four brand new badge flags!
All new items were a huge hit at the show, and we’re super excited to be able to bring new and exciting merch items to future events as well. We’re anticipating bringing these new items to our other shows in 2025, while supplies last, so you can get your hands on them at an event near you!
Big's Fishin'
Inspired by the infamous Sonic minigame, Big’s Fishin’: Cookie Brigade edition brought in attendees for a tough challenge! With plenty of fish to catch and the prospect of terrific prizes on the line, MAGFest attendees tried the whole weekend to catch Froggy and his aquatic friends, and support a great cause in the process!
Ball pit and tag wall
We brought back our ball pit from PAX West 2023, with a few changes! By popular demand, we continued allowing people to [p] in the ball pit by drawing on the plastic balls. However, this time, we also went around to artists showcased at the event, and have them draw on the balls as well, to add even more artistic flair to the pit.
We also set up a giant tag wall behind the ball pit, and allowed attendees to sign or draw on it! We were so impressed with the creativity and art talent that was showcased. At the end of the show, we donated the ball pit, artist-drawn balls, and the tag wall to the charity auction, where it raised over $200 for Child’s Play Charity!
Capsule Machines
In a new addition to the Cookie Brigade booth, we added three new capsule machines, all with great prizes! Attendees could take a spin at our game capsule machines, to get games generously donated by our partners at Finji and Daedalic Entertainment.
At the larger machine, attendees could win sought-after Cookie Brigade pins, custom dice, small custom items, or our grand prize, a copy of Heros of Barcadia, generously supplied by our friends at Rollacrit!
We plan on continuing to expand our capsule machine collection, and bring them to future events in 2025, with even more exciting prizes!

The MAGFest community continues to blow us away with their amazing support. Especially with this only being our second year attending, we continued to feel welcomed by such an incredible community. Thank you to everyone who donated, got cookies, purchased merch, or participated in one of our interactive booth elements. You’re the reason that we can’t wait to come back next year, with an even bigger and better presence!
We had so many great volunteers at this show as well. From returning brigadiers to brand new faces, we could not have had our booth open as long as we did without your help. Through late nights slinging cookies, you allowed us to have the presence that we did.
