Whether it’s through their fundraising prowess, volunteer efforts, or innovative ideas, they’ve helped steer us to new heights. This award honors those who have gone above and beyond, making a significant impact and leading us to triumph.”
This past Friday night, November 22nd, the Cookie Brigade was honored at the annual Child’s Play Charity auction and received the Big Driver award, a new award from the Desert Bus team. Three members of the Cookie Brigade attended the auction dinner to represent the Cookie Brigade and accept the award.
The Cookie Brigade does not exist without our volunteers. From staffing our booths and tables at events to helping us plan and drive traffic to our presence at events, we couldn’t do it without everyone who generously volunteers their time to help us raise money. Of course, all of the money we’ve raised over the years for Child’s Play has been donated by our supporters, who continue to show up and help us break records each event, demanding more and more cookies every year in exchange for generous donations to charity. As we round off our most successful year to date, we recognize every one of our supporters who continue to help us do what we do best: raise money for charity.
We would like to thank Child’s Play for this amazing award, and for continuing to be amazing partners in our efforts each year. We’re extremely proud to be able to raise money each year for such an amazing orgaization.
In short, this award is for the community, the volunteers, the supporters, and everyone who’s come together in any capacity, no matter how small, to help us raise over a million dollars for charity since 2007. The future continues to look bright for the Brigade and our efforts, and we’re so excited to share them all with you in the coming year. Thank you!
